LA DOT
DCR Design delivered strategic design and software development services to a new Vision Zero Active Transportation website for the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LA DOT). This replaced numerous project-specific microsites.
Project tasks DCR contributed included:
- DCR helped LA DOT design and implement a dynamic website communicating its work in active transportation implementation projects.
- Data analysis and extended modeling of LA DOT Active Transportation related geodata. Most of this is exposed via the Los Angeles GeoHub ( http://geohub.lacity.org/ ).
- Providing strategic direction on the overall design and delivery of information shown on the new website.
- Lead system development of the web mapping service using (ESRI) ArcGIS JavaScript API implemented in a larger web development framework.
